+: High end resort, but very far from Ubud (30-40 minutes drive due to traffic). The rooms are big, clean and nice. Some mosquitos here and there. Jungle noise from outside the resort and the nearby temple noise in the morning is something to get used to, maybe bring earplugs. This resort is great if you just want to be away from crowds and the city, and do not care that there is nothing to do within the resort or around it, but it is not the real Ubud and for this price you can find something much better.
-: There is a shuttle service but not frequent enough and the last one is at 18:00.The spa and the restaurant prices are western. The food is vegan (which I was very excited about) but not the best and the portions are small. The coffee for breakfast is charged extra, and it is not a good coffee.Hardly any activities in and around the resort.

+: This place is amazing! It puts the treat in retreat. We did not want to leave. Our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, with a pool overlooking the gardens. The breakfast and dinner options were some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had. The included yoga is a lovely way to start the day and the spa treatments are next level.

+: The hotel is sensational, with a wonderful retreat concept. The rooms are exactly as seen in the photos and even more impressive in real life. The breakfasts were delicious, and we were surprised to find out that the hotel restaurant is vegan. This information should have been communicated beforehand, but we thoroughly enjoyed all the meals we had there. The yoga classes were incredible, making our stay very special and welcoming.
-: The hotel's access was a bit complicated, and its location was somewhat distant from Ubud's center. While the hotel does offer a shuttle service three times a day, it concludes at 6:30 PM. This means if you plan to dine in Ubud, you'll need to arrange transportation. Additionally, it would have been helpful to know in advance that the hotel offers vegan cuisine. Overall, these aspects were a bit inconvenient, but the stay was otherwise pleasant.
