+: It is in a good location if you are happy to walk it or drive a Scooter or get a scooter to Ubud Centre. It’s about 5 minutes walk from Monkey Forest and it’s right next to the Yoga Barn. It also is right next to on the main road where all the restaurants are. It’s also so big that it is away from the main road that it is still peaceful. There are tvs in the room and they have at least 3 English movie channels (if this is oh interest!). The gym is good - has a fair number of weights and a bicycle, treadmill and elliptical machine. Fresh water is provided every day. The staff can provide breakfast in the room if you prefer. The staff are very helpful and will try to make your stay a very good one. The hotel also doesn’t mind you ordering from Grab (I found their room service menu limited). I stayed an extra 3 nights after issues (below with room) were resolved and the staff were very kind and helpful and gave me a free massage !!!

-: The room I was originally put in had a literal gap between the outside balcony door and the room (maybe 2cm?) so I found cockroach and bugs in my room (they could just walk in). I appreciate I am in the jungle but this is why i went to a 5 star hotel. My shower also did not work … I called the staff they fixed the shower. After I showed them the issue gap (!) between outside balcony door and the bedroom the my out towels under for that night and offered me another room for the rest of my stay . I went to inspect the replacement room it but it smelt heavily of mould damp. After a bit of google translate I explained it was mould. They showed me another room that didn’t smell of mould and I moved the next day. I had a door that closed and a shower that worked! The only thing is that the room was close to the restaurant so you woke up early but this might be ok for guests who want to get up at 6 am. Finally the laundry was overpriced - 25,000IDR per item but laundry up the road charged me IDR 23,000 for 3kg. Menu in room service isn’t great :(

+: The staff were amazing and so welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the gym is a bonus extra also.
