+: Some staff were friendly. Location on the beach was beautiful.
-: Service was poor. We had so many issues starting with not giving us the room we paid for. The staff finally provided us with an adequate substitute but wasn’t really friendly or overly helpful. Wrong charges on our bill, up to 2 hours wait for in room service and not really apologetic and very slow to service our room, e.g. went out all day and came back and room still not serviced.

+: I liked that we were given a sunny room with the plunge that we requested earlier. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
-: This is our second year staying at Sofitel Nusa Dua, and I noticed a decline in the quality of the buffet breakfast. There are fewer cheese and fruit options, and the menu does not change, which becomes repetitive and boring for guests staying more than 4-5 nights. While there are many choices, they still feel limited, especially for guests who do not eat Asian food, or vice versa. Additionally, while we appreciated the complimentary cake for my birthday, it was delivered on the wrong day. When I tried to put it in the fridge, it slid off the plate because a part of the plate moved unexpectedly.

+: Hotel and Facilities just superb and staff always smiling and ready to assist. Room was classy in its finish and well sized. Breakfast was A+ with a fantastic selection. Walked the board walk comparing resorts nearby and happy to say we stayed at the best. Will definitely return.

+: Location was good and the restaurants were incredible. We payed for the few restaurant vouchers which were great and the grounds were amazing on the property.
-: We unfortunately got a bad room. We paid for the plunge pool room, and everything went wrong a few days in within 24 hours. Our room safe wouldn't stop beeping (we hadn't even touched it since we got in the room), it just started going off at 10 pm with an error code. We put a heap of towles on it to dim down the noise. Then at 4 am we awoke to a waterfall in our room. Our toilet pipe had cracked and created a river in our bathroom. We called maintenance, and my husband switched the toilet water off so it didn't create more mess. They came about 15 mins later to fix it and they also fixed the safe while they were there. We then had to get housekeeping in to clean all the water. The night after, we were brushing our teeth, and part of the marble counter cracked off the bench and nearly landed on our feet. We called maintenance again to sort it out. They came about 10 mins later and cleaned it up.That night we asked for another room as we were fed up with this happening. We were 'upgraded' to a room with pool access, we quickly packed up our stuff and moved over 40 ish mins later. However, I wouldn't recommend this room if you like privacy. The room was a bit bigger, I would say, but their was constant noise from people walking past, especially the trolleys with glasses, etc. Kids swimming and jumping around our room. Pool guys coming down to clean. It just wasn't what we wanted for our honeymoon Overall, it was a good stay, but just lots of unfortunate events that led to us having to switch rooms and feel a little bit worried about what else could go wrong.
