Tauch Terminal Resort Tulamben & Spa is a beachfront diving resort with sweeping views of the ocean. It features 2 outdoor pools, a restaurant and Balinese-inspired rooms with private terraces. Wi-Fi is accessible for free in all areas.
A 45-minute car ride from Tauch Terminal Resort Tulamben & Spa leads to Puri Agung Karangasem Palace, while it takes an hour to drive to Besakih Temple from the property. Ngurah Rai International Airport is 3 hour’s drive away. Airport transfers can be arranged at a fee.
Set around tropical gardens, tastefully appointed rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini-bar and a seating area. Views of the pool and the sea can be enjoyed from the private terraces. Private bathrooms are semi open, providing hot and cold shower facilities as well as a complete set of toiletries.
Guests can sun tan in the private beach area and go on snorkeling or diving trips. Soothing massages await at the resort’s spa. Staff at the tour desk can assist with ticket reservations, vehicle rentals and shuttle services.

+: This was the most relaxing part of our holiday. We switched off completely. Beautiful views over the ocean (it’s black volcanic sand and pebbly beach but still gorgeous). We read books, recharged. Ate well including Indonesian and Western food, drank margaritas and had Magnum ice creams for a treat. The staff are all beautiful . What’s not to love about all that? We left a small bag with my iPad and medications in it, the hotel went out of their way to help me reunite with my bag - thanks Tauch! Insert Love heart emoji here!❤️
-: Tiny issue, I’ve realised I’m not a fan of Bintang on tap. Give me a glass bottle any day. I understand this hotel is very environmentally friendly, but….. you asked, and that’s my only small desire….

+: friendly and helpful staff. Seaview and wave sound. Almost in front of the wreck USAT Liberty
-: It was just after the rainy season and there was so many caterpillars ...even in the room. Bathroom should be blocked with screens. Even if the cleanliness of the place was good, the smell of sewer was persistent in the bathroom.

-: Saai plaatsje en niet mogelijk zonder schoenen de zee in te gaan. Vaak behoorlijke golven.
