One of our top picks in Venice-Lido.Set right on the beach on Venice Lido, this 5-star hotel offers a peaceful location and a large heated outdoor pool. A free regular launch service takes guests to across the lagoon to St. Mark's Square in the heart of Venice.

Opened in 1908, Hotel Excelsior Venice features a distinctive Moorish architecture, decorated with crystal chandeliers and rich fabrics.

The property was refurbished in 2013 and equipped with new tapestries and carpets, free Wi-Fi access in all areas including the beach, and a gym with modern machineries.

All spacious rooms come with a plasma-screen satellite TV and a mini-bar. Each room has a private bathroom with soft bathrobes and slippers. Some rooms overlook the Adriatic Sea, others have panoramic views across to Venice, and other overlook the Moorish courtyard.

+: Отличное местоположение, потрясающие завтраки, безупречный персонал, бесплатный трансфер до Венеции и назад. -: Пожалуй уже настало время сделать ремонт. Был в прошлый раз 15 лет назад, ничего не поменялось. Когда речь идёт о персонале это прекрасно, но когда о сантехнике это уже не очень.

+: Красивый элегантный отель с прекрасно организованным персоналом. Мы брали номера с видом на море, и спали с отрытыми окнами в августе, так как за окном тишина и ничего , кроме шума волн. Утром можно было выпить кофе (в номере кофемашина) на собственном балконе , не вылезая из халата. 15 минут на бесплатном шатле отеля и Вы в центре Венеции! Правда желающих много, лучше приходить к шатлу заранее. -: Отель стоит на берегу моря, но морской отдых организован специфично. Мы не планировали тратить на купание больше пары часов в день, поэтому арендовать кабану за 280 евро, было странно. Привычные наборы из зонтика и шезлонгов, стоят не у моря , а за стеной из кабан. Но больше всего удивило отсутствие переодевалок и душа для ног, вне кабан. То есть , приходилось тащить песок на ногах прямо по прекрасным ступеням внутрь отеля. Надеюсь, руководство прочтёт наши пожелания не пачкать , и организуют внизу до лестницы небольшой душ.

+: Кораблик который возит на сан марко очень красивый, а дорога просто мини романтик путешествие, заход в отель с воды , причал просто улёт. -: Нет того лоска который был на фото отеля, все уже слегка устало и поблекло)

+: Все абсолютно понравилось , от номера до еды Прекрасный пляж и зона у бассейна Можно совмещать прогулки по Венеции (ходит бесплатный транфер) и отдых на море -: Иногда вай фай медленный был, но по первой же нашей просьбе всё исправили

+: Удобное место расположения! Хорошие номера! Удобные кровати, много шкафов! Рядом большой пляж, но собственного пляжа у отеля нет,аренда рядом с отелем дорогая , но рядом есть подешевле! Бассейн хороший, чистый! Ежедневный трансфер каждые 30 мин до Венеции! Очень удобно! -: Очень дорогие напитки и еда в ресторане, поэтому заказывают редко! Но рядом есть ресторанчики вкусные с разумной ценовой политикой! Однообразные завтраки, нет свежих овощей, каш и тп! Фрукты хорошие!
