Offering a spa and wellness center, 2 pools surrounded by palm trees, and a free tennis court, Hemingways Watamu is located on the beachfront of Watamu. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and free WiFi.
The rooms are furnished in a modern style and offer bright interiors with views of the ocean. Each has a private bathroom with a hairdryer.
The on-site restaurant offers outdoor dining with ocean views. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it features eclectic cuisine with a focus on fresh sea food.
Guests can partake in an array of activities in the area, such as snorkeling, fishing, and bird watching. The Gede Ruins are a 5-minute drive from the property, while Malindi Airport is 12 mi away.

-: The front desk management team!! Stayed at hotel in March. Nice facilities. No issues with the property. The complaint is with the management, which lacks drive and responsiveness. I have been in dispute with the credit card company ever since my stay regarding the final amount charged to my credit card. Initial amount charged was for extra rooms which were cancelled. There is a $3000+ discrepancy that the hotel has not refunded (despite assurances that the amount would be refunded, and issuing a correct final amount on Booking.com). The credit card company can’t take the dispute further as they need a valid credit receipt from Hemingway’s.
