Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Khweza Bed & Breakfast 3* 2024-2025 Kenya, Nairobi

+: Good breakfast, not always on time (they ask for the time), nice rooms, location ok (not far from some national bus companies) and Peris, the hotel manager, was a delight, proactive and supportive (she lended us binoculars for the safaris, helped us very quickly for the ETA when the immigration services required for extra documents, after our 5 days safaris when we came back to pick up our stuff, she offered us a room to take a shower knowing that we couldn’t take a hot shower for days due to the power surge).

-: On the 3 days we stayed, there was unfortunately no electricity (and hot water) for 3 days. While this happens, we found the staff not very proactive.. We had to ask for candles or solutions to have a bit of battery for our phones and the daily activities. We booked 2 tours with the hotel, the Mount Kenya was too for what it was (we had a guide only there to walk with us, not explaining much, and with a very tiny sandwich only to eat, had to ask for water, etc. - all of this for 200$ per person). However, the 5 days safaris was totally worth it.

+: La plantilla, el desayuno y la terraza

-: Nuestra habitación estaba en la planta sótano. La habitación estaba limpia pero era muy poco acogedora: techos altos con tuberías, un baño con un plato de ducha poco estable, la taza del wáter no estaba bien sellada al suelo y se salía el agua... No era una habitación para huéspedes. Daba la sensación que la habían "mejorado" con lo mínimo para amortizala pero no dejaba de ser un sótano. Para acceder a las habitaciones, unas escaleras -no muy seguras- y había unos depósitos que eran las únicas vistas desde las pequeñas ventanas. Al lado de la habitación, la lavandería del hotel. Vimos las habitaciones que no estaban en el sótano y estaban bien!!! Eran como las que aparecen el las fotos de Booking, pero no la nuestra.Por lo demás, terraza, staff y desayuno puedo decir que correctos para el precio que pagamos. El barrio normal de día pero no tanto de noche. Resumiendo: si os dan una habitación que no sea en el sótano, es un hotel bueno para pasar una noche en Nairobi después de un safari pero... no fue nuestro caso 😞

+: Das Personal war unfassbar freundlich und half bei vielen organisatorischen Dingen.Die Preise sind auch für Essen und Trinken extrem günstig.Schönes Rooftop!

-: Es ist recht laut, die Fenster gehen zum Innenhof. Es ist ein Budget Hotel, darauf sollte man eingestellt sein. In dem Rahmen ist es super.

+: Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen war sehr lecker und günstig!

-: Leider hatten wir den ganzen Aufenthalt über keinen Strom, kein Internet und kein warmes Wasser.

+: Good place for a stop over. Friendly staff.

+: Dach Terrasse mit Restaurant… sehr schön Personal war sehr lieb und hat sich bemüht Gute Organisation für Trips

-: Leider gab es während des dreitägigen Aufenthalts einen kompletten Stromausfall… kein Licht, kein WLAN, keine Möglichkeit ein elektronisches Gerät aufzuladen, keine warme Dusche Die Mitarbeiter haben keine Versuche gemacht für Kompensation zu sorgen….. Preisnachlass, Kaffee Tee etc.

+: The roof terrace is very nice!

-: Partly (two nights out of three) I paid for a better room than what we got. For the last night room was OK, but there was no electricity in the entire hotel (so no Wi-Fi either). Breakfasts were not served at ordered times.

+: Staff were very helpful

-: Not in the best area.
