Featuring a garden with an outdoor swimming pool, Tulia House offers rooms with a balcony and outdoor furniture. The hostel is located just 5 minutes' walk from Mombasa Beach.
The rooms are all equipped with a wardrobe. Most rooms have a private bathroom but some rooms come with access to shared bathroom and toilet facilities.
Guests can enjoy international and Kenyan dishes at the on-site restaurant and bar. There is also a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi access is available in public areas.
Tulia House is a 5-minute drive from Bamburi Beach and 10 minutes' drive from Mombasa's city center. Moi International Airport can be reached within a 30-minute drive.
+: Lovely outside area. Double room has comfortable big bed, good mosquito net, nice balcony. Dorm bed was comfortable, nice spacious balcony.
-: Some matresses and nets in the dormitory could be renewed, as well as bathroom taps. Shower flooded a little after a few days. Towels could be included or cheaper, washing clothes is also quite expensive. Pool is clean only for around 2 days a week.

+: The facilities are great especially the spa. I strongly recommend getting a back massage from Liz. The better rooms are spacious and have airco and a fridge.
-: The bar was noisy until 2 or 3am so best bring earplugs. There are many mosquitos in the barrestaurant area so bring a strong repellent.

-: Not flexible with the menu, fruits only came with full granola-breakfast menu, for example. I was ill and had to rest but construction works and the bar area were a little loud.

-: Staff is not helpful, flush is broken, they don't change sheets or make your bed every Dayperiodically- only when you leave or someone new comes- only then they put the bedsheets, stuff is rundown and old, locker handle can hurt your hand, staff just wants to sell you more stuff and they charge a lot though it's not a compulsion to buy from them, I heard that the food is not good from my roommate, cocktails are not strong and they charge you more to make it strong, staff gives wrong directions to the beach plus they didn't tell us about the curfew,

-: Prix au bar exorbitant, manger et boire dehors et pas à l'intérieur Le personnel est sympa mais ne vous aide en rien si vous avez un petit soucis surtout l'équipe de nuit au bar, il n'ya pas de frigo pour laisser vos bouteilles au frais ou quoi que ce soit, C'EST UN FOUR, il n'ya pas de climatisation et il fait extrêmement chaud on à tous des ventilateurs qui brasse de l'air chaud, le dernier jours j'ai passer la nuit au balcon, il fait meilleur dehors que à l'intérieurs. LA moustiquaire à scratch s'enlève et à plein de trou donc la nuit vous vous faite piquer par des moustiques. L'eau des douches et du lavabo est de l'eau de mer hyper salée. C'est un bon endroit pour rapport qualité prix et distance avec la plage mais c'est juste un total inconfort.
