One of the best choices we have chosen in the city of Negombo. The Amagi Lagoon Resort & Spa is located next to the Negombo Lagoon. The hotel is suitable for lovers of a relaxing holiday. It features an outdoor pool, a restaurant, rooms with flat-screen cable TVs, and parking. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Lagoon Amagi Resort & Spa is a 5-minute drive from Arpico Shopping Center and 10 minutes from Negombo Beach. Colombo International Airport is 15 minutes away.
The tastefully decorated rooms are decorated with unique paintings and bright pillows. All rooms have a minibar, personal safe and an attached bathroom.
Guests can work out in the gym and relax by the pool. Luggage storage and shuttle service are available at the front desk.
The restaurant serves a variety of international and local dishes. Room service is available.

+: Schönes Hotel in der Nähe vom Flughafen. Ich habe ein Upgrade auf eine Suite bekommen, die wirklich toll war. Glutenfreie Essensoptionen möglich, auch die Frühstücksbox war sehr gut.
-: Leider war das Hotel durch eine Veranstaltung von einheimischen Hotelangestellten komplett ausgebucht und ca 100 Kinder und Erwachsene haben den ganzen Nachmittag und Abend den Pool und Garten laut lärmend bevölkert, so dass hier ein entspannter Aufenthalt nicht möglich war. Abgerundet hat dies am Abend ein DJ, der den gesamten Außenbereich laut beschallt hat. Für mich mit einem sehr frühen Flug und entsprechend früherer Schlafenszeit war das die Hölle und ich hätte mit so einer Veranstaltung in einem Airport-Transit-Hotel nicht gerechnet. Deswegen musste ich abends noch einmal das Zimmer wechseln, da ich kein Auge zubekommen hätte.

+: Great location if you’re just arrivingleaving, good place for a one night stay. Nice pool. Big clean room and lovely shower. Fit for purpose.
-: It was advertised as having a gym - which was a deciding factor when booking - but it didn’t (think it’s under construction?) which was a shame. If you have time before your flight you’re allowed to stay in the common areas, but if you want to be inside then there’s only really the reception as an area to chill. A little on the expensive side for the facilities available.
