+: Die Halbpension war durchaus ok. Es ist ein lokales Hoteö, in dem sehr häufig lokale Gäste wohnen bzw. essen, also einheimische sri lankische Kost, und die war gut. Weil es am Tag meiner Ankunft recht voll war im Hotel, bekam ich ein Upgrade auf die Executive Suite, 65 m2 groß, bestehend aus Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Bad, Ankleidezimmer, Balkon mit Whirlpool. Hört sich erst einmal toll an, aber es gab schon diverse Mängel. Schranktüren und Schubladen, die schief im Möbelstück hängen, ein undichtes Dach, es regnete ins Bett und die Wand herunter, Diverse defekte Lampen---, aber ich mecker darüber ja gar nicht, ich hatte es ja auch zum halben Preis. Wenn man einem Kunden dafür aber 85 Euro abnehmen will, dann muss so etwas schon in Ordnung gebracht werden. Man hat auch versucht, kleine Schäden zu beheben, was nicht immer klappt, aber das finde ich das sympathische an Sri Lanka, von daher steht es hier unter "gefallen". - Sri Lanka darf gar nicht perfekt sein, dann ist der Charme der Insel futsch.

-: Meine Bewertung kann nur zweischneidig sein. Fast über die gesamte Zeit hat es schwer geregnet und gestürmt. Es war zwar Monsunzeit, aber selbst die Einheimischen sagen, dass es dieses Jahr extrem war. Mir hat nicht gefallen, dass es in solchen Zeiten so gar keine Ablenkung im Hotel gibt. Ich war froh, dass ich meinen Laptop mithatte. Das WLAN ist recht gut im Zimmer Überzogen finde ich die Getränkepreise, da wird deutlich mehr genommen als in größeren Anlagen

+: A rare find in Colombo suburbs located in the beachfront with good facilities along with rooms having a great sea view. I enjoyed the dinner, sandwiches and other short eats particularly. Very clean and spacious rooms. Overall, there is nothing bad to state about the experience. I would visit there again.
