One of the best choices we have chosen in Tangalle is popular among guests.
The beach can be reached in just 1 minute. Buckingham Place Hotel is located on Rekawa Beach. The rooms overlook the Indian Ocean and the Rekava Lagoon. There is a 33-meter infinity pool with a bar with a sink and another 12-meter pool in the restaurant in the garden. Directly from the hotel you can go to the stone pool and plunge into the sea water.
All rooms have a king-size bed and a veranda or balcony overlooking the lagoon. The spacious air-conditioned rooms are decorated with modern artwork and decorated with elements from natural materials. There is a private bathroom with a bath or shower.
Surrounded by tropical vegetation, Buckingham Place has several indoor and outdoor recreation areas and a small spa. A wild pony moves freely around the hotel.
The open-air restaurant near the ocean serves local and international dishes, including vegetarian dishes and desserts. The international bar offers a selection of wines, beers and spirits.
Buckingham Place is a 3.5-hour drive from Colombo International Airport.

+: The pool area was gorgeous, the staff were lovely and the food was great! Close proximity to the turtle conservation site and the staff went above and beyond.

+: The Buckingham is an exceptional Hotel located on Rekwa Beach near to Tangalle. The service and quality of the Hotel is top notch. Amazing food and breakfasts and beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea. The rooms are well appointed and the service is outstanding from start to finish.
-: We loved the wildlife, as you can see various Monkeys and more around the Hotel surroundings. The bathroom is open to the elements which means things can come in at night. For example we had frogs entering our bathroom. The staff quickly remove them though so it was not a major issue.
