Victoria
+: The whole hotel is gorgeous. The beach is perfect for swimming, very clean with gorgeous views and is so private (not packed with hundreds of other tourists). You can walk to the rocks on the corner for great snorkeling and to explore the huge other beach on the other side. In the evening (5pm) all the local fishermen turn up to take their boats out as the sun sets and its like a free show every day as the boats are beautiful and the locals are all very friendly. The rooms are all huge with private garden seating areas with overhead fans and your own coffee machine. The food and drinks were all very reasonably priced and often enjoyed having a beer brought to me on the beach as the sun set. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and attentive, even showing me monkeys that had come to visit the hotel one day. Loads of wildlife to see at the hotel to keep you entertained and the food was all delicious. Took a tuk tuk from the hotel one day down to Hikkaduwa Turtle Beach to go Scuba Diving (about 20-30 mins drive with great views along the way). The busy beach there made me grateful to return to the hotels quiet one. A private piece of paradise
-: Seats and a table on the rooms rooftop terrace would have been a good extra touch. The wifi didnt reach back to my bedroom at the very back of the hotel but worked fine everywhere else
