+: Everything was immaculate. The main restaurant is stunning, the service was fantastic. Our room had an infinity pool and a built-in steam room. The main moon pool has the most amazing views and the gym below had great equipment and was spotless. One thing that really stood out for me was the food. My partner and I have dined in some of the best restaurants in the world (without wanting to brag) and I would go back just for the food. Every dish we had was beautifully presented and made from excellent local produce. My partner had a massage at the spa (by masseuses from Indonesia) and said it was the best massage she had ever had. That's saying a lot as she has massages all the time. Big shout to to the chefs and also Sajith who took amazing care of us.

-: The food was so good that every other restaurant we ate at on the rest of our trip was disappointing in comparison.

+: food, pool, bar, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, location, rooms, facilities all great.

-: liked pretty much everything. shame we didn't see quite as much wildlife on site as we hasd in previous visits but I guess that can't be helped.

+: La vue est agréable au restaurant. Le spot de Surf est juste en contre bas. L'espace dans la villa était appréciable. Ne vous attendait tout de même pas a une vue imprenable, ce sera un joli aperçu mer. Villa au calme.

-: Si vous avez un enfant, oubliez la jolie piscine a débordement vue mer, l'accès vous y sera interdit. Le service au restaurant est catastrophique. Prévoyez 1H20 pour un petit-déjeuner... le thé infuseeeeee. Les prix pratiqués à la carte sont indécents, ils pratiquent des tarifs de restaurants étoilés??!, on en est loin... Ne parlons pas du bar ou les prix sont supérieur à un bar de Palace Monégasque. On se sent traqué à la consommation, nous avons eu la sensation d'étre des ATM en permanence. Quelques réflexions a l'accueil ... en autre, sur le fait que nous avions fait appel a un taxi extérieur et il semblait que cela soit problématique?? Notre Villa était faite chaque jour.. hormis les sols, les extérieurs, et les serviettes de piscines qui n'étaient pas ramassées. Les petits gâteaux d'accueil sont restés 3 jours dans une assiette. Apres déceptions sur déceptions, le jour du départ, on nous facture le service laundry alors que a notre arrivée nous avions expressément posé la question et il nous avait été dit que le service était inclus. Aucun dialogue, le responsable ne m'écoutait même pas! Nous avons donc réglé. Le responsable devait revenir vers nous par mail pour nous faire ou non un remboursement... Nous attendons toujours son retour. Je pense que cet hôtel ne mérite absolument pas le titre de relais et châteaux.

+: The food at Cape Weligama was excellent, we particularly loved the spaghetti lobster dish. It was a very generous with plenty of lobster and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of choices and fresh juices. The staff were all incredibly friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The villa rooms are incredibly large and spacious and tastefully furnished.

-: The only dislike was there were no fans outside on the verandas which was annoying if just wanting to relax and read, without them it was far too hot. The property is very hilly but good if you like the exercise. There is no beach to swim at as rocky below, although the pool is fabulous. We booked a premier villa but did have to share the pool with others which I was no a fan of. Plus, we had another villa above us which took away our privacy.
