+: The architecture of buildings, the sprawling estate and landscaping was a pleasing experience. The dining room, set in an open room was beautiful; Food, both for breakfast and dinner was a great experience, wide selection both international and Sri Lankan. The food station chefs were a great help. Swimming pool was clean and set in a scenic area. The rooms were spacious, interior decoration beautiful, and the housekeeping made it absolutely clean and nice.

+: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The buffet dinner had a wide spread of dishes and desserts. The room was very private, quiet, and spacious. Check-in time was 2.00 pm but we were early, and they gave us our keys by 1.00 pm.

-: The food was average but reasonably priced for tourists, cheaper than other cinnamon hotels we stayed in.They don't offer sparkling wine or champagne by the glass. You have to get a whole bottle, which is expensive and overpriced. The wine selection was very limited and the Riesling they had was very overpriced. More expensive than in the UK.
