One of the best choices we have selected in Kalpitiya.
In a stylish eco-complex Dolphin Beach offers luxury tents near a private area on the beach Alankuda Beach in Sri Lanka. The blue sky, the clear waters of the Indian Ocean and the friendly dolphins will make the rest in this complex truly unforgettable. On-site facilities include water sports and free Wi-Fi.
Decorated in rich and bright orange tones, tents are air-conditioned. Adjacent to them is a large terrace with comfortable chairs. The bathroom has a rain shower.
Dolphin Beach is located 18 km from Palavi Train Station and 20 km from the city of Kalpitiya. The complex from the complex to the city of Colombo takes 2.5 hours, and the distance to Bandaranaike International Airport is 110 km (2 hours by car).
Guests can book day trips at the tour desk or take a bicycle for free to explore the surrounding areas on their own. The complex also includes laundry and dry cleaning. +: Beautiful whimsical details with a rustic tropical beach vibe, and extremely helpful and attentive staff. In house chef cooking made to order delicious Sri Lankan dishes. Just the place to get away from it all. We ended our 2 week trip here and it was the perfect R&R. Spent our last day on the water with the Dolphins.

+: Amazing food & they went out of their way with a v late breakfast after a dolphin trip & an excellent packed breakfast for a 5am start the following day. Original tweaks, like using shells for taps!

+: From the fabulous beach to the stunning and comfortable glamping tents, everything was perfect. We were so lucky to find this beautiful hotel having been very disappointed with a previous booking elsewhere. We got a room last minute. Best decision ever.

+: Grote prachtig ingerichte tent, eerder een bungalow, in het zand tussen palmbomen aan het strand. Heel veilig. Prachtig zwembad. Heel goede chef kok, zowel voor Sri Lankese als voor westerse keuken. Het personeel springt voor je. Dolfijn safari was heel leuk
-: Het is zo dat er een windmolen is vlakbij en meer wat verder weg. Maar ons stoorde het niet, enkel een achtergrondgeluid dat went. Ik vind het geen reden om niet te boeken.

+: magic way to end our 3 week trip to Sri Lanka; with a couple of nights ar Dolphin Beach. Pool was the kids favourite and in the sand; with magical sunsets. Family tent was great and everything worked and the Dolphin boat trip in the morning was truely amazing
