-: Que el aire acondicionado te lo cobran aparte del precio y son como unos 10 dólares, y el personal con pocas ganas de trabajar, pedí de comer y no me trajeron un plato de los que lo pedí por q se les olvidó y solo éramos dos en la mesa

+: Incredible hotel to stay in Hikkaduwa. staff were super friendly and welcoming. room is comfortable, nice AC, and good breakfast options . Cannot be beaten for the price!

+: De kamer met balkon en het uitzicht is echt fantastisch

-: De ontbijtruimte ziet er ongezellig uit. Buiten zit je wel heel mooi op het strand. Het geheel is wat verouderd

+: The location, pool and pool area, our room with a sea view and a reasonable balcony, breakfast and. the cleaners were good . The breakfast was ok for the price. Buffet style with eggs how you choose.

-: The front of house and waiter staff are poorly managed. They need training in basic customer care. They rarely smiled or said ‘hi’. They looked bored, disinterested and were mainly on their phones or chatting to each other in groups. The mainly on phones bit probably explains why the restaurant WiFi was so slow at breakfast. It was fine at night as our room was above the restaurant. We tried the restaurant once at lunch when we arrived and the sandwich and salad were poor quality. Never used it again during our six day stay. In complete contrast are the restaurants either side who were friendly and welcoming and served imaginative and high quality food. Baba’s, the family restaurant on the left is particularly good value and friendly. Both the restaurants either side are open until 9-10pm and were quite busy. Drifters restaurant was mostly empty and closed by about 7pm which says it all. The sunbeds on the beach are also poor, with inadequate shading and cushions long past their sell by date. It’s such a pity because with a little effort the beach restaurant side of this property could be much more.
