Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Green Parrot 4* 2024-2025 Sri Lanka, Tangalle

+: As the listing states there is no food served at this hotel. However there are a good list of properties close by to eat and getting around by tuktuk is easy and cheap. The pool is clean and a good size and our daughter had fun in it. The beach is beautiful and very quiet but not suitable for swimming while we were there (April). The room was clean and comfortable with basic amenities. Note that the nearest cash machine is a tuktuk ride away and some local restaurants don't take card.

-: The property kitchen was available to use for guests but it was very hot in there and also a little unclean in parts. The wifi was very slow and patchy. Perhaps a few pool toys could be provided such as snorkels or floats. It was perhaps not the best choice for a stay with young children as there really is very little to do other than sunbathe and swim - perfect for relaxation for adults but maybe not so good for kids.

-: Restaurantroom service would have made this stay even better, but everything has been communicated transparently by the Green Parrot Team, so it was our decision to book anyway. <3

+: Large rooms with plenty of space, beautiful vaulted ceilings on the second floor. The outside patios face the poolbeach or lagoon, and are furnished with comfy round chairs or small dining tables and a peaceful ambiance of distant crashing waves or bird song. It's a small hotel so it almost feels like you have the place to yourself. As a woman traveling alone I felt perfectly safe. The beach is pristine and normally completely to yourself. Desk staff are incredibly helpful at answering questions, giving recommendations, and calling tuk tuks. There's no food on site, but it's the perfect excuse to get out an explore locally, with several restaurants in walking distance. If you're stuck working on vacation, the wifi is strong enough for group Zoom meetings (!). This hotel is far enough away from the hubbub of Tangalla to allow for quiet relaxation, but close enough with a short Tuk Tuk ride for all the amenities you could want. Highly recommend.

+: Such a nice and quiet place which is situated just 1 min walk from the beach. Clean and spacious rooms, the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Overall I've truly enjoyed my stay at this property and will certainly come back.

+: Ilia and team were great. Quick communication on WhatsApp to confirm details. Highest quality rooms and bathrooms we saw in Sri Lanka. Great pool and outdoor area, including shaded areas. Best restaurant nearby - Priya Moon - and many others a 10 minute walk away.

-: A little remote. Easy if you have own transport, otherwise easy enough to book a van or tuktuk pickup.

+: Czysto, spokojnie, wygodnie, ładny basenik, hotelik zadbany, lokalizacja oddalona od zaplecza turystycznego, co ma swoje plusy i minusy. Oczekiwaliśmy spokoju i być może było go tu aż za duzo. Ładnie widać gwiazdy podczas nocnej kąpieli w basenie.

-: Plaża bez cienia, w praktyce nadaje się do porannych i popołudniowych spacerów, goście hotelowi jeżdżą na plaże po drugiej stronie Tangalle (np silent beach). Ciężko też o sensowny cenowo transport, więc raczej dla ludzi z własnym.
