-: הגענו בערב לעשות צק אין אחרי נסיעה אחרוגה לאיזור, הם לא היו מוכנים לזה שנגיע וממש הופתעו ואמרו שלא שמו לב להזמנה בבוקינג ושהמלון מלא. אמרו לנו שעשר דקות יהיה חדר מוכן ובפועל לקח יותר משעה וכל הזמן השאירו אותנו בלי ידע, זה היה מרגיז. החדרים נקיים יחסית אבל הסדינים והכריות היו עם כתמים. הברז במקלחת נוראי וחלק מהזמן גם לא היה מים חמים

+: To start with the positive first: when requested extras (towel, adapter) the staff was very attentive and immediately brought what I needed. The garden is very nicely maintained.
-: I would not recommend staying at Ekho Weligama. Now to the other points: The pictures do not represent the current state the rooms nor the hotel is in. It is old and very badly maintained: old and dirty furniture, moldy rooms, color going off the walls, not able to lock the doors properly, cockroach in the room and and and… The second night they “cleaned” the room next to mine until 2:30 am in such a loud manner, even after telling them to please be quiet. Furthermore, the location on Google and Apple Maps do not represent the actual location of the hotel. It is located on the very boarder of Weligama. The management knows about all these problems, however still charges a rip-off price for the rooms.

+: Staff was flexible with check-in & check-out time.
-: Place is so run down. Pictures on booking.com are so deceiving about the actual state of the hotel. Not worth the money at all. Looks really dodgy & not maintained at all. Staff was not trained for us to check-in & when we requested for towels they just brought them in his hand. No cleanliness. There was no electricity from morning till evening when the neighbouring places had & gave false excuses.
