Located right in front of Negombo Beach, Ocean Pearl Hotel Negombo provides beautiful tropical rooms with private bathrooms. It features a restaurant, a tour desk, and free Wi-Fi access in its public areas.

-: The smell every day in this hotel was awful- there is a local fish market processing factory nearby and from about 9am to 6pm it is impossible to be anywhere near the hotel. The pool is useless because of this and the main reason we booked. It’s a little out of the way of the other restaurants etc and was not very clean. I would not stay here again.

+: lovely property. after four weeks on the road this was by far the cleanest pool we had encountered! rooms aren’t massive but have all you need.staff can’t do enough to help you.it’s good value for money, lunch and dinner are well priced and the chef knows a thing or two!beach is accessible via a footpath opposite…….and it’s lovely, one of the few really good for swimming we found in all the time we were away.this end of the beach is not so developed as some and seems to be busier at the weekend when the locals visit from Colombo.
-: there’s a kettle in the room but no mugs or coffeeteathere is a slight aroma of fish - if you walk to the beach you’ll find out why.I loved the crows that live at the hotel but this could be a problem if you are freaked out by birds.and……why are the controls for the lights and ceiling fan in room 110 behind the headboard?
