Offering an outdoor swimming pool and Auyurvedic massage therapies, Pelwehera Village Resort Pvt Ltd is located in Dambulla. The property houses a restaurant and provides free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Pelwehera Resort is a 10-minute drive from Dambulla Cave Temple and a 25-minute drive from Sigiriya Town. Colombo International Airport is a 4-hour drive away.
Modern rooms come with vibrant fabrics and large windows that provide natural light. All the air conditioned units have a cable TV, mini-bar and private bathroom with a bathtub.

+: Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht. Die Massage ist zu empfehlen.
-: Leider stimmen die Bilder nicht mit der Realität überein: Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und dazu auch nicht besonders sauber. Nachdem wir an der Wand über unserer Dusche und auf dem Duschkopf Schimmel entdeckt haben und wir uns beschwert haben, wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer zugeteilt. Dort befand sich kein Schimmel, aber sauber war es dort auch nicht besonders. Letztendlich sind wir einen Tag früher abgereist als geplant. Übrigens wird auf der Booking-Seite angezeigt, dass dies ein 4-Sterne-Hotel ist, laut Google jedoch ein 3- Sterne-Hotel, was schon eher zu dem Hotel passt. Schade...

+: Very lovely village resort & would highly recommend! The staff were fantastic - so friendly & helpful from the moment we arrived. The rooms were really big and very clean. Breakfast was great too! We stayed here overnight as it was close location to Sigiriya - I think the location is good but much easier if you have a carvan to get to places.
-: This was a very minor issue but there was a puddle in the bathroom after we showered because the water wasn't draining very well. But they had daily house-keeping who cleaned it up immediately.
