Rock Fort Hotel & Spa is located in Unawatuna, with free Wi-Fi throughout. The hotel's outdoor swimming pool is open all year round. Guests can enjoy a variety of meals in the hotel's restaurant. Free private parking is available on site.
All rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and some have a seating area for relaxation after a busy day. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries.
There is a restaurant on the territory. On request, food and drinks are delivered to the room, and special diet menus and packed lunches are available. The hotel reception is open around the clock.
There is a tour desk and a bicycle / car rental service. The area is popular with lovers of snorkelling and diving. The Japanese Peace Pagoda and the Yatagala Temple are 1.5 miles from the Rock Fort Spa Hotel.

+: Das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und habe jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
-: Leider waren die Zimmer weder sauber noch in einem guten Zustand. War einmal ein sehr schönes Hotel aber jetzt müsste man dringend renovieren.

+: Literie de bonne qualité Accueil agréable et impeccable Petit déjeuner
-: Chambre avec balcon et mur de 2 mètres Chambre très bruyante avec climatisation de la chambre voisine sur notre balcon et tuyauterie dans le mur qui se déclenche toutes les 30 secondes. Bar non fonctionnel lors de notre séjour.

+: The best thing about this hotel were the staff. We were greeted well and Shani along with her managers were lovely. The bed was good and the rooms had hot water. That's about it.
-: Don't be deceived by the pictures, the hotel is run down and poorly maintained. We were a couple and we got a room that had us exposed to a neighboring construction site. We had to keep the curtains close just to prevent the works from seeing us. Sadly the owners are clearly not focused on maintenance or even a refurbishement, the elevator carpet was wet and moldy. So much of potential with the place and lovely staff that works there, unfortunately the hotel is still stuck in the 90s.

+: La ubicación únicamente era lo bueno
-: Las fotos no corresponden con las habitaciones que finalmente entregan. Lo cual es una estafa en toda regla. También hay cargos ocultos que uno no se entera hasta llegar al hotel y no tiene mas opción que pagarlos. El hotel se ve viejo y mal mantenido. Los aires acondicionados no funcionan del todo bien. La verdad que muy pocas cosas buenas puedo decir. Jamas volvería a alojarme allí ni gratis.

+: I liked the hotel staff customer service,they were always eager to help, beds were amongst the most comfortable in Sri Lanka.
-: Most of the hotel facilities were not available I.e, the sun lounge area near pool, spa , restaurants. The hotel and rooms were suffering from corrosion so some of the doors had rust and deformation so wouldn't close smoothly. Rust is apparent everywhere.
