+: The food was really good at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and did their outmost to help us - we stayed for a week because we had to visit family in Kandy, and the staff did a lot to help us arranging family dinners, etc.The rooms are good value for price, and it’s only a short Tuk-tuk ride away from the center of the city.We will definitely stay there again, when we return to Kandy - ftr. then we have visited Kandy many times, where we have stayed at many different hotels. This was absolute our best stay - Oak Ray is our new favorite hotel in Kandy!

+: Good views of Ella. Especially from the dining room. Close to town.
-: Our room was covered in black mold. The staff showed us a few alternatives, some also covered in mold. Eventually the final offer was a double room for the price of a family room. WiFi wasn’t working throughout the hotel. We ended up leaving and booking elsewhere.
