+: Hotel had different activities for all age groups. The breakfast buffet was really good with various live stations. Nice gym as well. Laundry service was superb.

-: It’s a family resort and it can get very crowded at sometimes especially during breakfast.

-: Most of the events are not stopped and not working, only the outdoor swimming pool is working

+: The second room we received was very nice, near the quite area of the hotel. More to the adult pool area. The room service and cleaning staff were very friendly and professional. The bar and breakfast restaurant staff were also very friendly and made you feel welcome. The staff at the Pro Shop was also very friendly and helpful. The breakfast team and breakfast restaurant manager was OUTSTANDING! Breakfast and dinner itself was very nice as we had the halfboard option.

-: Not so much liked, however disappointed as we had very high expectations before going. Living in Dubai and researching that this establishment was rated the second best resort in Srilanka we exited to relax and wind down for three days after a hectic couple of days traveling Kandy and surrounding areas. On arrival we were welcomed and all was lovely, however the room we were booked into was not what we expected. The room had a musty smell and it was right on the children’s play area. I requested to change the room near to the adult area and they accommodated us. Mind you it was not at all busy. Or peak time. We waited at the bar for almost an hour before they could give us another room. We had to ask front desk to let us know when they would be ready. Then I had to ask for our luggage to be sent to the room. We got to the room and then the magnetic keys dis not work. I had to go back to reception (not close by) to get the keys replaced again. Got to the room and we were still waiting for our luggage. After phoning guest relations manager and complaining they sorted it out. After back and forth and numerous whatsapps and phone calls we were tired. We arrived at check in time and only settled round 5:30. Finally, to top it off, as I went to front desk to get the keys activated, I decided to go to the concierge service to find out about excursions. There was NO price list (only catalogue with photos) not set prices for activities sight seeing. When I asked about whale watching, the two men behind the desk looked at each other and tried to figure out how much they would be charging. I asked about how much the transfer would cost from the resort to our next accommodation and I mentioned that I have some idea what other drivers normally ask, he got very upset with me and told me I need to get the Uber app then I will see that there are no drivers in the area. After I told him I have no idea why he wants me to download an app, I just wanted to compare prices.

+: Location and food good

-: Bed size should be little big

+: Facilities were diverse.

-: The pictures are not as wow as the resort as it's slightly older. One has to find their way around activities.

+: Excellent hotel for families! Wonderful and well trained staff, amazing pool and indoor play area for the kids; exceptional food selection

-: Nothing, everything was perfect
