+: We liked the proximity to the small town area, the lake and sightseeing. The pool was very relaxing and we took a long swim after a busy day sightseeing. Easy walk to town with small eateries, restaurants and bakeries nearby. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the rice and curry was superb as was the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast the following morning. The staff were all lovely and helpful.
-: Air conditioning had no remote control so what it was set on was it. Hotel is in need of some TLC….everything is functional but run down.

+: Sauberes Zimmer. Sehr bequeme Betten. Lage gut, um die Tempelanlagen zu besichtigen, ansonsten etwas laut gelegen.
-: Komische Atmosphäre, man fühlte sich beobachtet. Vorsicht bei der Abrechnung! Der Manager hatte versucht, versteckt einen falschen Wechselkurs anzusetzen.

+: Das Deluxe Doppelzimmer hatte eine gute Größe mit super Klimaanlage. Direkt vom Hotel konnte man sich günstig Fahrräder mieten, um die Gegend zu erkunden und die Tempel zu besichtigen. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.
-: Das Zimmer war an sich sauber, es gab aber recht viele Spinnenweben mit Kleinvieh in den Ecken, was für mich recht störend war. Der Pool war zwar sauber, allerdings auch sehr warm. Das Wlan hat leider über die gesamte Hotelanlage bis zu den Zimmer gereicht.

+: It was very convenient to have the bikes right from the hotel. The pool was refreshing. Very convenient for the bus and visiting the site.
-: Though the room was big, it could be better kept, e.g. curtain washed, AC panel replace. The AC iteself worked well enough.

+: Very nice and caring hosts. We lent some bikes for the Polonnaruwa visit. The hotel is very close to the Museum entrance and the lake. It was very clean and tidy.
