+: Piscina grande e com vista muito agradável.Quarto confortável e boa dimensão.A equipa do hotel teve a atenção de preparar e deixar no quarto mimos específicos de lua de mel - fruta, bolo, decoração de quarto.

-: Refeições - tanto pequeno almoço como jantar. Fomos com pensão completa. Podia ter mais variedade e até com comida mais ocidental, dado o estilo e categoria do hotel.

+: The rooms were spacious & comfortable. Overlooks lovely scenery. Nice sized pool. Dogs appear to be well looked after.

-: The drain smell from the bathroom. The room required a little maintenance of the air con. Not many vegetarian options for dinner or breakfast, but the vegetarian options that were there were nice. But the buffet area was quite cramped - this could have been as the hotel was busy.

+: Konsepti, doğa ile uyumu, sessizliği çok güzeldi, odaların konforu, balkonların bahçe ve agaçlar ile bütünlüğü harikaydı

-: Otel havaalanı transferi icin 130$ istedi. Ancak özel taxi ile 30$ a 3 saat yol geldik. Daha uygun fiyat verebilirlerdi

+: The location of the hotel was very beautiful. It's located in a big mango garden with lots of mango trees. It gave the feeling of being in a forest which was very calming. The staff was very helpful and polite. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was terrific. The calmness in the surroundings was beyond compare. It was very relaxing.

-: It would have been good if there were more varieties of food in the breakfast and dinner buffet. The Sri Lankan food was not very good (even I cook better than that :D). The pool was right next to the restaurant which put us off a bit. It would have been better to have a private pool.

-: We were informed by the staff that we got “upgraded” and eventually i found out the room they gave us was what we actually booked through booking.com in the first place. Then the room keys did not work, then the AC was spoilt. In that moment, As the Resorts GM could not solve matters, i called the owner of the resort one Mr Thisa, who was seriously rude on the phone. i gave up! Thank God it was just one night of a nightmare!

+: Das Lankavatara liegt wunderschön. Ein toller Garten, mit sehr vielen Tieren und Reisfelder umgeben die Anlage. Die Zimmer, Garten-Villa, sind sehr groß. Leider müssten sie dringend renoviert werden, die Wände sehen stark mitgenommen aus und vieles ist in die Jahre gekommen. Auch das Frühstück entspricht nicht dem Preis, bei 5 Sternen erwartet man sich mehr Service .Der Pool ist traumhaft groß, leider war gerade eine Schulklasse dort, die ihn in Beschlag genommen hat...Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und auch alle Mitarbeiter. Das Hotel hat Potential , es müsste aber noch einiges verbessert werden. Was uns auch gefallen hat ist, dass Fahrer dort übernachten können! Wenn man freilaufenden Elefanten, ausserhalb der Naturschutzparks, begegnen will muß man nach Dambulla kommen. Auch der Höhlen Tempel ist wirklich wunderschön.

-: Hotel mit Potential, müsste aber renoviert werden und die Mitarbeiter, beim Frühstück, sollten serviceorientierter sein.Momentan passt das Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis leider nicht. Kleine Veränderungen könnten das aber schnell ändern!

+: Overall everything was as expected. Great welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Breakfast and Dinner options were good and delicious. Especially local foods provided were very tasty.

-: A little bit old rooms..some minor renovation could be required.
