-: The place was closed due to maintenance, and i was not informed until i arraived to the location. I was offered another hotel for the same price, howevey when i went to the new location, the room rate was diffrent, and i had to pay more. I tried calling the manager who offerd me the new hotel, but he did not answer the phone.

+: Dear fellow travelers,I recently stayed at the Tranquil Negambo hotel in Sri Lanka, and unfortunately, my experience was far from tranquil. I was disappointed with the substandard conditions of the room that I stayed in, which did not meet the expectations set by the pictures on the booking website.Upon arriving at the hotel, I found only the keeper, as the receptionist was out. The keeper called the receptionist, who instructed him to let us choose one room out of two. The room that was offered to us was not clean, with dead cockroaches and mosquitoes present. The soap provided was very old and appeared to be expired. Additionally, the bedsheet and blanket were dirty, and the tea box had only two tea bags of a different brand (local) than what was advertised. We were also provided with only one towel. The wifi connection was very poor, and the TV had no signals.I was extremely disappointed with the conditions of the room, and I feel that these conditions are unacceptable. I have attached pictures of the room as evidence of the conditions that I experienced during my stay. I hope that my feedback helps other travelers in making an informed decision when choosing a hotel in Sri Lanka.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I hope that the management takes the necessary steps to rectify the situation and improve their facilities and services.I hope that my experience helps other travelers have a more enjoyable and comfortable stay in Sri Lanka.

+: Eine gute Unterkunft, leicht abseits des Strandes (250LKR mit TuckTuck). Absolut freundliches Personal. Wir kamen um 5 Uhr früh in der Unterkunft an und konnten sofort das Zimmer (CheckIn 14:00) ohne Aufpreis beziehen. Egal was man benötigte das Personal half. Der Pool war auch immer sehr erfrischend. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder nehmen.
