+: Great location on the beach

-: A little bit dated and the room was not ready at check in time so about 30 mins wait

+: Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Von der 2. Etage des Chalets hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf das Meer.Großes Zimmer mit Bad und Balkon!Der Pool war sehr sauber und bot viel Platz. Das Pool-Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Liegen auch am Strand direkt vor dem Zimmer wurden mit Matten bestückt und wir erhielten ohne Aufforderung Handtücher gebracht. Die beiden Restaurants standen auch Gästen zur Verfügung, die a la carte essen wollten. Das Personal insgesamt war super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer wurden täglich frisch gemacht und wir erhielten immer Trinkwasser sowie Tee und Kaffee.

-: Sowohl im Captain's Deck als auch im The Crab schien das Personal mit mehr Gästen überfordert zu sein. Beim Frühstück wurde Kaffee erst ausgeschenkt nachdem wir das Frühstück beendet hatten - eine bessere Oragnisation wäre hilfreich.Im The Crab wurde mit Verweis "heute ist viel zu tun" die gesamte Vorspeise vergessen. Von einem hochwertigen Hotel hätte ich da mehr Professionalität erwartet.

+: We loved so much about Trinco Blu. The room was a very comfortable size. There were TWO luggage stands - even 5 and 6 star hotels often have only one, which always baffles and annoys me. There were hooks on the bathroom door - again, shouldn't be noteworthy but 5 and 6 star hotels often have no where to hang your towels, clothes or robes. There was a simple ledge under the bathroom sink for your toiletries - again, many 5 and 6 star hotels have no where for your toiletries. The food selections were excellent. We are vegan and so much of Sri Lankan food is vegan and the hotel served a lot of it, so we were happy. And the food was delicious. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. They were always happy to help. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend it to anyone who visits Trincomalee. It's a very special part of the world and Trinco Blu made it even more special for us.

-: Some parts of the hotel need to be upgradedmaintained, e.g. the mirrors on the wall behind the reception desk. There was even one gap where the mirror is missing. Many, if not all, of the mirrors' edges were missing the reflecting part of the mirror. This kind of detail made me a bit sad for the property because otherwise, it was such a great place.

+: Wij hadden een appartementje aan het strand. Fantastisch uitzicht met zonopkomst en zonsondergang. Het hotel heeft een prachtige ligging aan het strand. Is voorzien met een mooi groot zwembad. Het hotel ligt dicht bij alle leuke strandtentjes die op loopafstand via het strand te bereiken zijn!

+: Staff was excellent. Always attended to see if we needed help. Always going above and beyond to provide assistance. Room & hotel was really clean. Location was great as well with many restaurants around to dine in. Loved the morning buffet. Variety of Sri Lankan & International food to indulge in.

+: Arrived and was not sure about the room so we were given an option which was good.We ended up with a beautiful room opposite the water. Access service good food loved it have been before and we’ll go again. Thank you all.

-: On a couple of occasions, there were some works been done which was a bit noisy when we were trying to have a nap in the afternoon but that was all

+: Once we had changed rooms, the view and location were excellent. Walking along the beach was fun, with a large variety of bars, restaurants, and dive schools. We were pleased to have stayed in uppeveli as there seemed to be much more going on than in Trinco. The staff were friendly. Free water every day in the rooms. Rooms have been recently refurbished and they look nice. The bed was comfortable.

-: Check in and check out was very slow. Even though there were a lot of staff, it seemed that only one person was able to do the checkinout process. It took at least 30 minutes each time.We had booked a beach chalet. The photos and name suggests that this is a separate building, however they are just hotel rooms in two-storey buildings. Potential guests should be aware that the photos on booking.com are of GROUND FLOOR ‘beach chalet’ rooms. When we checked in we were allocated a room on the first floor that smelt strongly on paint. The room seemed smaller than those on the ground floor and obviously did not have the advantage of being able to walk from the doors of the room onto the beach. We went to reception and requested a ground floor room near the beach as per the pictures on booking.com. To their credit, the hotel did change our room. If they had not been able to, then I think we would have felt we had been missold.The smell of the drains in the bathroom was awful. We had to keep the door closed at all times and the fan on. The buffet items (particularly fruit) often had flys on it. I think the doors should be kept closed to minimise this risk.

+: A localização, uma vez que fica praticamente em cima da praia, e toda involvencia da piscina com a praia, restaurante, etc. Os funcionários também eram muito simpáticos e prestáveis!
