+: A memorable experience.Very friendly hotel, we felt at home since the beginning.Food was delicious and healthy with the flavors of the country. Su Ike and his team did their best to make the stay pleasant and unforgettable.The room is very clean, comfortable and large.With a very relaxing garden and pool.See you again!

+: The interior decoration and layout was very tastefully done in our room as well as the rest of the public areas which complemented the seaside location very well. Moreover the staff were very friendly and hospitable and made our stay ever so easy and comfortable. The manager, Sunil was very attentive to us all and accommodated our concerns and requests in a very respectful and agreeable manner. Overall our stay at Villa Saffron was wonderful with the weather being the only negative. Hoping to come back again when the sun’s out.

+: Výborný kuchař!!! Šéf se snaží až moc. Lepší by bylo, kdyby nejdřív zajistil pokoj, který nabízí :( Místo je opravdu nádherné, ale....

-: Vířivka byla jako hnůj a plná mravenců :( Klimoška nám vytopila do rána celou místnost.

+: - A lovely greeting from the manager upon arrival. - Sunil really couldn’t do enough for us and even made us New Year treats. - Beautifully secluded pool right on the beach but tucked away for privacy compared some of the other hotels along the beach - truly stunning - The hotel is at the perfect part of the beach where people are few and far between. If you walk 30 mins down and around the beach to the right, it’s horrendously busy - stay where the hotel is as it’s so peaceful! - Lovely complimentary tea and cake each afternoon which is a nice touch - Very welcoming staff - Beautifully decorated rooms (and the whole hotel)

-: - WiFi is temperamental - Food isn’t brilliantly stocked from the menu, so choices often weren’t available - Ordering breakfast is fussy as you have to explain what you’d like from the menu the night before and select a time even though what you ordered doesn’t accurately comeat once etc So leave yourself plenty of time - No liquor licence, so bring your own beer, wine, spirits (or they’re very willing to go and collect you some which is good)

+: Sunil and his team are excellent at taking care you from the moment that you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to completely relax and recharge, it’s perfect. We had a wonderful week there and can highly recommend staying at Villa Saffron.

+: Unser Aufenthalt von 4 Nächten war traumhaft schön. Wir hatten eine sehr tolle Zeit in der Villa mit anderen sehr netten Gästen. Es herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre, da es nur wenige Zimmer gibt. Trotzdem ist die Villa sehr groß, sodass man sich sowohl drinnen als auch draußen aus dem Weg gehen kann und Zeit für sich haben kann. Die Aufenthaltsbereiche sind sehr gemütlich und immer sauber gehalten und sowohl bei gutem als auch schlechtem Wetter muss man sich nicht dauerhaft im Zimmer aufhalten, um in Ruhe zu entspannen. Auch der Pool ist toll und perfekt, um zu schwimmen oder am Rand zu sitzen und zu entspannen.Man kann das Meer vom Garten aus sehen und vom Zimmer aus hören. Im Pool wirkt es, als ob man direkt vor dem Meer schwimmt.Das Essen war immer sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Der Eiskaffee ist zu empfehlen!Der Service war perfekt, zurückhaltend, aber immer verfügbar und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß bereitet dort zu wohnen und wir würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

+: Et fantastisk hotel som føles mere som at bo i en privat villa. Det ligger tilpas væk fra masseturismen i Hikkaduwa, men man kan gå langs stranden eller vejen ind hvis man ønsker liv, butikker og restauranter. Der er masser strandbarer lige i nærheden. Personalet gør alt hvad de kan for at gøre det til en fantastisk oplevelse. Maden var den bedste vi fik i Hikkaduwa. Stilen og designet var også så smukt, virkelig god stil.

-: Vi havde problemer med aircon på vores værelse men de gjorde alt hvad de kunne for at reparere den da hotellet var fyldt. Men vi fik lov at flytte til et seaview værelse den sidste nat som kompensation, så det var bare helt i orden! Garden view værelset har lidt støj fra gaden. Så ville ofre at få et seaview værelse næste gang!
