+: Wir waren zum dritten Mal auf Filitheyo und uns gefällt nach wie vor die relative Einfachheit, ohne viel Schnickschnack und die Ruhe. Das Hausriff ist nach wie vor spitze und die Vielfalt der Fische ist wie im Aquarium. Es war wieder ein tolles Erlebnis dort zu schnorcheln.Das Personal ist teilweise noch das gleiche wie vor sechs Jahren und immer noch unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist nach wie vor gut, es könnte vielleicht etwas mehr für Vegetarier geben.

-: Nach einer Woche fielen dort, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, die Italiener ein und haben mit ihrem Temperament nur Unruhe gestiftet. Grundsätzlich mögen wir Italiener, aber nicht auf einer Insel, wo man chillen möchte. Es wurde eine Musikbox am Strand abends aufgestellt, dann wurde ständig laut telefoniert im Wasser oder auch an den Bungalows wurde laut telefonierend vorbeigelaufen. Es haben sich viele Gäste beschwert. Danach wurde es dann etwas ruhiger.

+: Beautiful island, clean and spacious room, good food and friendly staff. All well organized.

-: Rowdy neighbors on the all-inclusive package disturbed the calmness of the place for a couple of nights.

+: All meals were really good. Food prepared fresh every day and always hot, Beach was amazing and the rooms very comfortable

-: The pool table was charged at $2.99 per game (I dont play pool, it was an observation) and bottled water was only one per room. Extra water charged at $5.00, Water was also charged at the dining table. I think water should be included and this resort is charging a premium rate to stay. Same for the pool table, only a small charge, but really should be included in the price of around $500.00 per day

+: Noch nicht abgehoben!! Nicht zu viele Wasserbungalows! Grüne und intakte Natur, direkt bei kristallklarem Meer-Wasser! Schöne Geamtanlage mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung und sehr guter Küche!!

-: Die blöden aufgetackelten Russenchätzlis, welche den ganzen Tag nur mit sich selber und ihrer bodenloser Dummheit beschäftigt sind!!

+: First of all the organising to get to and from the island by seaplane is excellent. The staff are all friendly and cheerful. The deluxe villa I stayed in (18) was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable, with a mosquito net. I loved the outside shower and the water pressure was excellent. The air conditioning was necessary and did a marvellous job as it was so humid. The villas were placed just enough apart with two sunbeds close to the water to make you feel like you're in your own little paradise. Each villa is allocated its own table in the dining hall with the same waiter to serve drinks and clear the table. It was then a buffet service where you walked around choosing your own dishes from the vast wonderful selection. There was always something I could feast on and the service was very good. I'm not a strong swimmer so didn't really snorkel much but did see some lovely fish. The upkeep of the island to keep it looking so lovely is impressive. Each morning someone would be out sweeping the sand and gathering up fallen branches and leaves. They did a lovely job. I was looking for a quiet few days and that's what I got.

-: Everything was as I hoped it would be. Alas I am a magnet to mosquitoes but there's nothing that could be done about that apart from be totally sprayed day and night. The still managed to find parts I hadn't covered! I did struggle with the humidity so thankfully the air conditioning in the villa was superb.

+: The reef surrounding the island is simply amazing, particularly the exit next to the water villas (nr. 4) and the ones facing north-west (nr. 5 & 6). Just snorkeling we had the chance to see an incredible variety of fishes and corals, we also swam alongside a turtle and sharks a couple of times! Staff is great, always gentle, kind and willing to help and assist. The food is great both in quality and in variety of offer, we really enjoyed our full board selection. We particularly appreciated the lack of "holiday village entertainment" and the authentic look & feel of the island (preserved but not over constructed).

-: The water villas should be refreshed - they are a gem but furniture is not well preserved and now quite old. Currently the villas have 3 kinds of roof, with different colors and some feature colored fabrics covering some pieces: it's a real pity as they do not look premium and ruin the overall scenery. I hope they are just temporary. Additionally, extra costs are quite a burden, as rates are high and you even need to pay for plain water even if on a full board service.
