Located on the largest island in Dhaalu Atoll, Kandima Maldives has the longest outdoor swimming pool in the Maldives, an abundance of water-sports, the largest beach club and tennis and basketball courts. It offers a marine biology center, an art studio and cooking classes.
Located at a 30-minute flight from Male’ and followed by a 20-minute boat ride to the island, the resort offers studios and villas with a private terrace and private pool. They offer endless tropical views.
For fitness lovers, Kandima Maldives has a gym with personal trainers and provides classes like anti-gravity yoga, Zumba, aqua-bike classes and POUND® fitness lessons. Guests can hire bikes or electric scooters.
Guests can choose among the 10 restaurants and bars the property offers. Sea Dragon serves authentic Chinese cuisine while Forbidden Bar plays live music in the night. Start the day at Aroma with fresh beverages and baked goods.

+: Isola grande e ben organizzata con SPA, Kinder Garden, Gym, settore Sport Acquatici
-: Il reef e’ sostanzialmente inesistente. Non c’è barriera corallina o fauna marina. Al contrario le spiagge sono bianche ma piene di coralli pungenti. Un vero peccato (quarta volta alle Maldive, 6 isole viste ed in assoluto la barriera di questo resort la più deludente)

-: مستوى الأكل متوسطالشاطئ الشرقي غير صالح للسباحه ولم يتم توضيح ذلك لنا مسبقاً على الرغم من ان حجزنا فيلا شاطئية لغرض السباحة على الشاطئ بالطبعصالة الطعام جداً حاره الفعاليات المائية جداً غالية

+: Struttura recente e molto curata. Le stanze over water con vasca idromassaggio, dove ho soggiornato, sono splendide.Il personale del ristorante e quello che si occupa delle pulizie sono straordinari!!
-: La gestione manageriale del resort e’ poco trasparente lascia molto a desiderare.Il giorno precedente il check out ho chiesto il conto delle attività da saldare e… sorpresa!!!Abbiamo comprato 4 pacchetti di sigarette al negozio: il prezzo sulla scatola era di 10 US$, ma le hanno addebitate a 16,50 US$. Per correggere l’addebito mi è stato chiesto di inviare una mail con foto del pacchetto( totalmente ignorata) e ho dovuto passare 30 min in reception.La prenotazione promette: Sconto del 15% su escursioni e attività di sport acquatici. Io effettuo diverse immersioni subacquee e, al momento del conto, lo sconto non viene applicato perché il diving non è uno sport acquatico. Decisamente scorretti anche in questo caso!!!!Ad ultimo, durante la cena al ristorante, una grossa foglia di palma secca è precipitata sulla nostra tavola da 10 metri d’altezza. Fortunatamente nessuno di noi si è fatto male ma , da parte dell’hotel, nemmeno un messaggio di scuse.Insomma, considerato il costo della struttura,c’è molto di meglio!!!!
