One & Only Reethi Rah is located in Maldives’ North Male Atoll. This luxurious tropical getaway overlooks the Indian Ocean and offers an infinity pool, free Wi-Fi and a peaceful private beach.

The elegant villas at One & Only Reethi Rah are located either over the lagoon or by the beach and enjoy beautiful ocean views. Flat-screen cable/satellite TVs, iPod docks and DVD players can be enjoyed in all rooms.

+: Als erfahrene Urlauber, die bereits zahlreiche Aufenthalte in 5-Sterne-Resorts genossen haben und die Malediven mindestens einmal jährlich besuchen sind wir der Meinung, dass wir die nötige Expertise für eine umfassende Bewertung für das One and Only Resort Reethi Rah mitbringen.Von dem Moment an, als wir am Flughafen begrüßt wurden und die Überfahrt mittels Yacht erlebten, fühlten wir uns wie auf Wolke 7. Das gesamte Personal, sprich vom persönlichen Butler bis hin zum Servicepersonal, verdient besondere Erwähnung. Alle Mitarbeiter sind angenehm und professionell und halten zugleich eine gesunde Distanz zum Gast, was uns sehr gefallen hat.Unser besonderer Dank gilt unserem Host Camilla, die uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts hervorragend betreut hat. Auch müssen wie an dieser Stelle den äußerst zuvorkommenden Resort Manager Pierre erwähnen, der stets präsent und um das leibliche Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht ist.Zudem ein großes Lob an den hauseigenen Barber namens Lido welcher bei einem längeren Aufenthalt schon mal in Anspruch genommen werden muss. Obwohl ich mich in Sachen Haarstyling schon als kleinlich bezeichnen würde, konnte Lido meinen Vorstellungen gerecht werden. Man fühlt sich bei bei ihm in Sachen FrisurStyling absolut gut aufgehoben.Die Zimmer sind großzügig und stets sauber – es ist offensichtlich, dass sie regelmäßig saniert werden und sich trotz des Alters des Resorts in einem hervorragenden Zustand befinden. Der großzügige Außenbereich bietet zudem genügend Privatsphäre.Kulinarisch bewegt sich das Resort auf einem Niveau, das einer Haubenküche entspricht. Jeder Gaumen wird hier verwöhnt. Das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet, einschließlich À-la-carte-Optionen wie gesunde Säfte und Fruit- Powerbowls, lässt keine Wünsche offen und lädt zum Verweilen auf der Sonnenterrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick auf den glasklaren indischen Ozean ein.Besonders erwähnenswert ist das Restaurant Hoshi, welches das exquisite Saga Wagyu anbietet.

+: The privacy. The cleanliness. The kindness of the staff. The weather. The beach. The breakfast. The water at the beach! The super light weight bicycles at our disposal for us to go anywhere on the island. The welcome from the airport and the arrival at the island on a great boat. It was a dream. The gym was perfect as was the variety of dinners and lunches at the different restaurants.

-: Nothing. The weather wasn’t always great but that’s not their fault at all.
