+: The island is beautiful and the staff are friendly. It's a very basic resort without many quality amenities.
-: The rooms appear nice, but the quality is lacking. The beds are not comfortable and the pillows are very cheap. The food at the buffet is abysmal: everything is overcooked and dried out from the heat lamps. The breakfast buffet should add a station to cook fresh eggs for guests. The photos I included were taken when the buffet opened, they are not after people have picked it over. This is how it was served "fresh". For the price per night, I expected better quality. I cannot recommend Riu Atoll. Stay at a better resort with better food and better amenities.
