One of our best sellers in San José del Cabo! This luxurious all-inclusive resort in Los Cabos offers 5 outdoor pools with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The spacious rooms all include a private balcony and satellite TV.
Hotel Barceló GrandFaro Los Cabos offers chic rooms, with tiled floors and wooden furnishings. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and amenities.
Breakfast and lunch are available at Las Olas Beachfront Restaurant. Guests can also try Mexican, Italian and international dishes at the hotel’s other restaurants, or relax in the bars. Room service is offered and has an extra cost.
Hotel Barceló Gran Faro Los Cabos is just five minutes’ drive from historic San José Del Cabo. It is set next to San José Del Cabo Golf Course and 12 mi from the international airport.

+: Room was a good size, food was decent but largely buffet. Would prefer more hot sit down meals. We were limited to one sit down dinner for our stay. Wait staff was better with service at sit down than buffet which makes sense since buffet is more self serve but would’ve liked better for drink service. Pools were nice and location was convenient around San Jose. The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed the large bathroom size- good for sharing if needed. House keeping provided an extra blanket which was much appreciated.
-: Front desk staff needs training in customer service. It was so difficult to get water from the front desk staff. They had some there but insisted on limiting bottles or you (the guest) calling room service or housekeeping to get water even though you were standing in front of the front desk asking for water. I Didn’t like leaving our bags out when we arrived early. Bell staff didn’t take them back to the room till who knows how long. The original front desk person that checked us in, Alejandro- told us the completely wrong building for our room and then it took forever to get bags from the desk. We were worried they would be sent to the other building we were told to go to. My husband had to go back and get the bags himself after they insisted to me that they were on their way. They were in another room sitting there. Security needs work we were told to give a ticket to security on the way out - nine to be found at the entrance. Pool areas could use more shade around the pool - either landscaping or sunshades. Jacuzzi didn’t work and there’s a loose railing on the main pool steps.
