Breakfast experience didnt meet expectations. Coffee was served too cold; when we complained, the waiter took away the cups & returned several minutes later with the same cups, now hot, clearly microwaved. Food was ok but not as well made as most other meals that we ate over 2 weeks in the Yucatan.Room was very nicetastefulcomfortableclean. Public areas are beautifully decorated in antiques. The breakfast is super slow and it was an unpleasant experience. My friend found one staple in her breakfast plate. When we told the waiters the issue, they took away the plate without saying anything and there were no followups. We asked them why there was a staple in the plate, but they didn’t answer it. It was awful and my friend could be hurt by the staple. The hotel did not provide any information on the incident till now.The hotel is clean and nice. The reception staff are very nice and helpful.
