Set in the heart of the Riviera Maya, facing the beautiful Caribbean Sea, Generations Riviera Maya stretches along a secluded beach, providing gourmet cuisine with the Gourmet Inclusive Experience and luxurious suites. It also features a garden, on-site shops, sun terrace, swimming pool and hot tub. It is located on Maroma Beach, 15 minutes’ drive from Playa del Carmen. The suites offer modern décor, air conditioning, iPod dock, flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player. All come with coffee maker, fridge and a bathroom with bathrobes, hairdryer and shower. This complex also features a baby lounge, a certified team of professionals at the Eko Kids Club, library and snorkeling equipement. Sauna and horseback riding are available as well. All guests ages 18 and over are welcome to use the facilities at the adults only El Dorado Casitas Royale and El Dorado Royale, by Karisma, which are located next door. Guests have 6 different options to dine. Asian cuisine, Mexican dishes and Italian food are offered. Generations Riviera Maya is 25 minutes' drive south of Cancun International Airport, 15 minutes' drive north of Playa del Carmen and just 10 minutes' drive away from Mayakoba championship golf course. Cancun town center is 35 minutes' drive away. .

-: This was the worst experience I had at a resort. I was traveling with my wife and 2 year old for my birthday. paid the full amount through bookings, checked in and everything. Then on the 3rd day of my vacation they informed me they did not receive payment from bookings. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with bookings (On my Birthday) just for them to tell me that yes the property already took the money. I spoke to multiple people in the staff and no one could help me. On check out I was forced to pay another full amount at the property, despite me providing them bank statement, receipts. Imagine if someone did not have that extra money to pay, then what? Well the resort manager said “they would have to find a way to pay”. Granted the resort manager told me this had happened before, so you think they would have put things in place to protect the guest; especially since this a “family resort “. The lack of communication is ridiculous, you call the front desk and can never reach anyone. There’s no one at the front desk if you arrive late.
