+: Beautiful property-lots of pools and man made scenery.
-: All the staff does is try to sell you something. Non stop solicitation. Everywhere you walk, they are pushing you to sit through their timeshare presentation, trying to guilt you. The rooms-specifically the bathrooms are so dark. There is really no “beach” access. The shoreline in front of the hotel is blocked with giant blow up barriers. Guess this is why there are so many pools.

+: Our room was beautiful (junior suite with ocean view). Really spacious, comfortable bed, nice views and good quality products in the bathroom. Overall the food options were very good. We had a brilliant experience with the wine pairing dinner in the cellar with Jorge (note this was an add-on for $150 per person). Breakfast in the observatory was excellent. We really liked Sea Soul for lunch - very varied menu, excellent food and a nice vibe. There were lots of pools; some busier than others but plenty of spots to relax in too. The gym was very good. Plenty of equipment and it’s a big size as it was mostly busy in the mornings. The staff were brilliant throughout the hotel. We would like to give a special mention to Karlita at the observatory breakfast and Jorge the sommelier in the hotel. Both were so friendly, nice and helpful.
-: Additional add-ons that aren’t part of the hotel are very expensive, for example the laundry service and the pharmacy ($45 for Hawaiian tropics SPF!). Come stocked with SPF before you arrive :) Wine options included in the all-inclusive package with meals were limited. Would have liked to have seen a couple of other options on this given the price.
