+: Location was perfect, and pool & beach facilities were fantastic. Loved the big rooms and closeness to the jungle - even had monkeys and costi to see
-: 2 bedroom Villa booked - yet not a single glass, knife or any sort of cutlery! Ie. All drawers empty. Weird and annoying given it’s a ‘villa’ Again it’s a Villa and no included laundry - after a week on a cruise boat (also with no laundry facilities); we were looking forward to washing a few items (all of them) - ended up having to use way over priced per item service. Gin bar - worst gin bar in the world! Asked for G&T and got flat tonic with no ice and barely a hint of actual gin. Restaurants - looked good enough, but almost impossible to book as most people there on all inclusive packages and therefore book out everything at start if the week. The restaurants we did eat at were very over priced and not to the same quality as those in Playa del Carmen itself. Wine was even more excessively overpriced. Ie. Food & Booze - unless you go for all inclusive (and just want to not bother with the fabulous local vibe in town?!) - I wouldn’t bother with this place.
