+: Booking.com did not guarantee my rate after I verified with them the rate for children under 17 and also confirmed the rate directly with Wyndham Viva. When I arrived at the hotel we were overcharged by the hotel. I tried to call Booking multiple times to talk to someone directly with no result. I called Wyndham and the confirmed children are considered under 17 but since I booked our stay with Booking.com they had to rectify the situation . Due to a language barrier, being in a foreign country and unable to speak with someone at your company we had no choice but to pay the additional fee. Your customer support is HORRIBlE!! I was on hold for 30 minutes then disconnected . There was no chat option available either! Besides that the hotel staff was friendly.
-: We had daily problems with our room safe. This took hours away from our vacation since we had to wait for staff to open, fix and-break into it several times throughout each day. Finally after 4 days of this, they installed a new safe. Also, they should indicate there are no stairs!! My daughter had knee surgery and it was quite concerning watching her hobble up and down the stairs. Some of the stairs became slippery when wet.
