Overlooking the San Vicente valleys, this hotel is located in a restored 18th century mansion. The hotel’s garden has a heated swimming pool. There is also a wellness center and a traditional restaurant.

The air-conditioned rooms and suites at Estalagem do Vale have satellite TV and a work desk. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace. The individual rooms are traditionally decorated with dark wooden furniture.

+: Из номера открывался очень волшебный вид, можно просто сидеть на балконе, ничего не делать и наслаждаться видами. Сам отель не маленький, достаточно просторный, есть лифты для перемещения между этажами, ну и лестницы конечно же. Номера чистые и присутствуют необходимые принадлежности для того чтобы привести себя в порядок. Есть просторное лоббио, в котором можно как заказать напитки и некоторые блюда, так и прийти со своими и попросить посуду для них. Завтрак был достаточно разнообразный и вкусный -: В отеле есть некоторый перебор в связи с "коронавирусными ограничениями" и лицемерие, в частности посетителей некоторые сотрудники заставляют ходить в масках, а тут же их коллеги перемещаются по отелю без масок, плюс на завтраке некоторые блюда брать самостоятельно нельзя, а их выдаёт специальный человек, тоже странно. Во дворе есть мини-гольф, но в неухоженном состоянии и не ясно где брать для него клюшки и мяч, в общем нельзя назвать это доступным развлечением

+: Второй долгожданный визит на остров решила начать именно здесь для знакомства с близлежащей пещерой. Расположение для меня, как для пешехода прекрасное. Но, кроме меня, других гостей без машины не было. Все было безупречно: номер, персонал, бассейн, джакузи, завтраки. С огромным удовольствием провела бы гораздо больше времени при такой возможности.

Breakfast was good, but if you were not one of the first to arrive, most of the hot food was gone. When asked for a top up we were told "once it is gone, it is gone" although they were willing to cook and egg!!! Some of the restaurant and bar staff were very miserable, it seemed as if everything was too much trouble for them and they didnt want to be there.The rooms were a bit small, but the bed was very comfortable. This hotel well deserves the 4*. The view is very beautiful. I could see the ocean from the balcony and the mountains behind and around us. The room was very nice and clean. The restaurant serves very good dinner and breakfast. Room cleaning was hit and miss. Very poor lighting in room. Amputation wardrobe doors. The bed was pretty poor. Only one English language tv channel...... given the propensity to rain on the north coast, and the clientele, the hotel needs a better offering.Excellent facilities for the price, but very obviously bargain basement room fittings. Given the price, however, one cant complain. Reasonable drinks and food prices. - We are a couple. Two single beds pushed together as a double bed with two mattresses is no good. Always a gap between the mattresses and it gets cold at nights. This was not at all good. We tried one night to stay on one of the two single mattresses but gave up. - Staff in front desk could be more customer oriented (instead of excusing for things not working they could say "thank you for the input,we will look into it").- Room view was spectacular. - All customers seemed to have same objective: silence. We enjoyed the silence and nature a lot, and there was a great respect between guests and staff to keep noise a a minimum.
