-: Food was average at best, bedrooms are pretty dated and there isn’t anything to do on an evening if the hotel aren’t providing entertainment as it’s not walking distance to anywhere else on an evening (no paths on the road).

-: The room was in a 2-floor concrete building next to a busy road, different than the wooden cabin-style rooms facing the gardens, as advertised in the site and the noise in our room was too much even with the windows closed. The balcony was facing the road and the access to the hotel, so it had no view and was noisy and not enjoyable to sit outside, while the rest of the rooms in the resort were facing the gardens and were very quit. We have raised our concern on the room location and the noise but there was no action from the hotel management.

+: best part of volbert beach is in front of the hotel, really great sea. Nice to have the shades and chaise longues good pool but with such a nice sea, we never used it but it has a nice barrestaurant on it very nice food, every day for 6 days with different menu breakfast was proper amazing garden, much better than the pictures balcony view was very refreshing and nice hotel is not isolated, it is near the village where you have amazing place much cheaper to eat overall staff were really nice and pleasant we visited the other side of the island and there was a lot of seaweed around grand anseairport so we were very pleased to have stayed (last week of may) in anse volbert area. Also, fyi, petite anse was closed and anse lazio is better more worthy of a visit than anse boudin (which is still nice, if you have the time).
-: bed was not good. first night we could not sleep well and had back and neck pain due to the bad and old mattress we asked to change and as of the second night it was better but still not very good need new mattress urgently to provide a proper night of sleep one of the staff during the dinner was too flirty and exaggerated a bit on his ways of being 'helpful' while looking at my partner's front and making some comments or exclamations that were inappropriate besides these 2 points, all was very good and overall, with the package half board of 315eur per night was quite correct, considering the experience and other hotel prices. Note that if you dont have it, you would easily spend 80eur per day for breakfast and dinner...
