+: This is a beautiful property situated on marine reserve. One can easily spot various forms of sea life including sting rays, Manta and various other fishes on the beach. You will be greeted by fishes swimming right next to the restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. Snorkelling on the beach is like visiting an aquarium. Though we were not lucky to see octopus and baby sharks, but we were told they visit quite often. Probably one of its kind setting in entire Praslin.

-: Few things that property should improve upon- 1) Water is chargeable - The property charges exhorbitantly high price for water - 67euros for 750ml bottle. Even the water served during buffet is chargeable. 2) Room geyser did not work for the entire stay despite lodging complaints

+: La Reserve is situated in one of the best, calmest bays of the Praslin island. We stayed there for 4 nights in June, the famous beaches such as Anse Lazio was very wavy so we couldn't swim there but the beach in our hotel was very nice. The food was very good, breakfast and dinner was included so we didn't have to spend much for lunch. The staff at the reception were very helpful and arranged our transfers. Very satisfying overall.

-: Drinks weren't included in the dinner, we had to pay even for water which was around 6 euros for 750 ml.

+: - Perfekter Stand- nicht zu viele Häuser (10 x4 Zimmer), also fsst noch 'familiär' gehalten

-: Bei der Neueröffnung des Hotels in 1 Jahr (2023 oder 2024) als 5-Sterne Hotel, wie es geplant ist, wäre es ratsam sich genau anzuschauen, welche Servicekräfte mit Freude arbeiten, und wem die Gäste egal sind. Es gab v.a. in der Gastronomie Frauen, denen das Desinteresse förmlich ins Gesicht geschrieben stand, und verbal gab es auch keine Besserung. Das scheint aber ein Phänomen der Seychellen zu sein was wir oft gesehen haben, und das verschärft sich vermutlich, weil die günstigen Inder mit voller Freundlichkeit Konkurrenz dazu bieten. Wahrscheinlich kann der Eigner das aber nicht ändern.
