On a small island surrounded by the Krka River lies the rebuilt Otocec Castle Hotel, offering a perfect atmosphere for weddings, parties and business meetings.

The castle was recently renovated, but kept the Gothic and Renaissance elements, creating a unique atmosphere of past times combined with the luxuries and comfort of today. A romantic dinner is only one of the unforgettable events you will take part in.

The castle walls date back to 1252, and the Otocec is located in the picturesque lush region of Dolenjska, famous for its rivers, valleys, forests and vineyards. It is only a stone's throw from the town of Novo Mesto.

+: Абсолютно все! Время останавливается здесь. Обязательно нужно посетить ресторан отеля. Гусиная печень и винная карта никого не оставит равнодушным. -: Не нашёл.

+: Оригинальность этого отеля основной мотив посещения. Замок был значительно разрушен во время войны (есть фото на стенде в воротах) и соответственно, восстановленреновирован в качестве отеля. Вроде все неплохо, но чего-то не хватает для создания настроения замка. В номере стоит аромат косметики BVLGARI, есть почти все необходимое (кроме тапочек, почему-то), включая кофе-машину с 6 капсулами 3 видов кофе. Но неработающая розетка вынудила пользоваться ею на табуреточке и то после «мастер-класса» от персонала. Приятным реверансом было ягодное угощение, которое нам принесли после заселения. Вокруг замка, который стоит на острове, красивый парк. Можно сидеть и любоваться рекой, лебедями. Завтрак немного неудобно сервирован: высокая витрина-холодильник, где все вместе и йогурты, и нарезка, и икра, а также стол-остров с выпечкой и прочим.
