Hotel Polovnik is centrally located in the Demanovska Dolina Valley in the Low Tatras Mountains, 4.3 mi from Jasna Ski Resort. The wellness access is valid only for guests older than 15 years and the entry in swimsuits is not allowed. Free on-site monitored parking and free WiFi is provided.

All rooms come with cable TV, fridge and a private bathroom with shower or bathtub.

Guests can dine at the characteristic Slovak-style Koliba Bystrina restaurant, serving a variety of Slovak dishes; the waiters are dressed in traditional folk costumes. Buffet or à-la-carte breakfast is served every morning.

In winter season a ski bus is available for free and stops 50 m away. Discounted ski passes can be bought on site.The Tatralandia Aquapark is 7.5 mi away, while the town of Liptovsky Mikulas can be reached within 4.3 mi. The nearest local bus stop is 100 m away from the Polovnik.

+: We ended up staying at sister Hotel Bistrina, which is few steps away and has a spa (didn’t use). I’d expert they both provide same comfort. Room was good,comfortable,clean. Breakfast at the Koliba very good, nice selection. We also dined at the Koliba and enjoyed that. Location is at the beginning of Demanovska Dolina,we used car to get to Jasna because it was already out of high season. During main ski season I would suggest skibus,due to lack of parking possibilities in Jasna.

-: I’d appreciate a hanger for wet cloths,as we used all the available hanging spaces very quickly (specific situation after a day on wet snow and then water park,there’s a lot to dry out). Otherwise nothing to complain,nice place,staff welcoming.

+: Super śniadania. Bardzo różnorodne i smaczne. Duży wybór ciast. Dobra kawa. Możliwość codziennego korzystania z sauny. Restauracja serwująca smaczne potrawy za stosunkowo niewysoką cenę.

-: Brak prysznica. Nie lubię wanny.
