The Aplend resort complex is located at the foot of the lowest and most picturesque mountains of the High Tatras mountain range in the village of Velky Slavkov near the famous Slavkovsky Peak mountain.

The resort has a children's playground with stairs and slides, an outdoor seating area and a barbecue area. For a small fee, guests are offered to play football on the nearby soccer field. Among the outdoor enthusiasts are popular skiing on the background of magnificent landscapes, as well as hiking and cycling around the picturesque lake Strbske Pleso and the neighboring towns of Stary Smokovec, Hrebienok and Tatranska Lomnitsa. During the trip by cable car to the mountain Lomnicky Peak offers an excellent view of the surrounding countryside.

Aplend Tatry Holiday Resort is just 4 km from the water park of Poprad and a few minutes drive from Lomnický Golf Club.

About 200 meters away there is a bus stop that goes to the High Tatras and Poprad. From the train station, located 900 meters away, there are trains to Lake Strbske Pleso and to the cities Poprad and Stary Smokovec.
