Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel Dusit Buncha Resort 3* 2024-2025 Thailand, Ko Tao

+: You don’t stay here to be walking distance to the main part of Koh Tao, however only a short (5 minute drive away). The views here are outstanding, looking directly out at Nang Yuan. We stayed at the very top and despite being a steep walk, it’s not all bad. The staff were very helpful for organising motorbikes and any trips needed (the hotel has a boat service directly to Nang Yuan). The staff were also able to accomodate our request to move room due to excessively noisey neighbours. The breakfast was great and had some of the better cooked Thai options I’ve had on this trip.

-: We initially stayed in the recently renovated rooms at the top. Similar to other reviews, you can tell these have not been done to the highest quality to warrant the price. The walls were also quite thin and you could hear guests in the room next door, if they were loud. The chalets were also relatively dated with the bathrooms needing some upgrade to warrant the price.

+: Der Ausblick von unserem holzchalet, der poolanlage und den restaurants ist echt top. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr lecker, doch um einiges teurer als am sairre beach. Frühstück ist auch in ordnung. Personal sehr freundlich und der zimmerservice ist auch super gewesen.

-: Grundsätzlich eine gute Lage (Ruhe). Da es aber doch etwas abgelegener ist empfehlen wir auf jeden fall einen roller zu mieten, den man auch perfekt vor dem Abstieg zum hotel parken kann.(shuttle zu sairre beach ist für eine strecke genau so teuer wie ein roller für 24h.)Massagen und generell der verzehr ist sehr teuer an der Anlage.

+: Muy buenos desayunos, habitación amplia y cómoda, buenas vistas.

-: Con el servicio de taxi privado del propio hotel nos sentimos engañados. Nos cobraron 300baht (150 por persona) para ir al centro y nos dejaron donde quisieron. Además, metieron a otra huésped de malas formas y sin preguntarnos en el taxi. Para colmo, en la parte de atrás subieron a 2 trabajadoras que habían terminado su jornada de trabajo y querían volver al centro. Esto creo que para nadie sería lo que se conoce como “servicio privado de taxi”, una vergüenza para un hotel de categoría.
