+: Staff were extremely friendly and keen to help, though not always successful. Cleanliness met a very high standard. The Bathroom in our villa was beautiful. Beach was clean and peaceful. Tourist information, pharmacy and ATM all just outside the resort entrance. Security guards patrolled outside the villas and around resort grounds throughout the night. There were always renovations and improvements occurring, and yet they never disturbed our experience as guests. The overall pride all the staff had in the resort and it's facilities and everything new that was being worked on made many guests excited to see the resort succeed at opening new spaces and hosting events each night like fire dancing and live music. There was a very positive atmosphere overall

-: The location is a bit of a walk down Beach Rd to the busier part of Chaweng Noi for shops and restaurants. The resort has multiple dining options, but they all had the same menu, despite being advertised otherwise on their website. The food, both Thai and Western, wasn't great. Our bathroom - we stayed in an Ocean Pool villa - had no ventilation, not even a window we could crack open. It opened directly onto the bedroom with no separation, so showering and using the toilet was incredibly awkward with multiple people in the room; steam and smells would have to travel into the main part of the room in order to dissipate. The lock on the door to our private outdoor area overlooking the beach was questionable and we learned that anyone determined enough could climb up from the beach into that area, so the flimsy lock didn't exactly fill our all female travel group with confidence. We did learn the first night that security patrols outside the villas quite concertedly, including along the beach, which made the lock situation far less scary. However, I still believe the sliding door and accompanying locks should be replaced with something more secure, especially in the villas that open onto exposed outdoor areas such as the beach or shared footpaths. Staff knowledge of the guest amenities wasn't great. We asked on our first night if we could connect netflix to the tv and were told the tv's couldn't connect to the internet. Through clicking around ourselves we discovered this was not true as the tv was a smart tv and netflix - as well as other streaming services - had been downloaded already and we just had to re-put-in the wifi password and login. The same thing happened with the aircondtioning remote where we asked for assistance, only to find the staff, from the engineer to reception, had less idea than we did. Absolutely not the fault of the staff themselves, they were definitely not trained and taught these things as they should've been

+: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The private pool was great to come home to. Plenty of space available to feel comfortable.

-: The place feels a bit outdated. There was a lack of lighting within the villa. The laundry service was poorly communicatedadvertised. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. The pillows were very average.

+: The beach was fabulous, clean beautiful stretched out as far as I could see. Just a great place to swim and sunbathe.

-: Walking down the concrete blocks to get to the beach was a bit dangerous as there’s no handrails and it’s pretty steep.
