+: Close to the beach. Some staff members were very helpful.

-: There were loads of mosquitos, so we asked the staff members for mosquitos killer spray, but they didn't seem to understand. They couldn't communicate either in Thai or English and found out they were Burmese. I really wished they could just use the Baygon spray to get rid of some mosquitos before the guest arrival. We wouldn't be eaten alive by mosquitos. I don't feel the room is value for money. No drawers or wardrobes. The whole place looks unfinished. This place isn't suitable for children. When our children wanted to go to the swimming pool on 2 occasions. There were a couple who just kept kissing in the middle of the swimming pool. This became uncomfortable. I know there is nothing the hotel can do about this, but just the information for consideration for future guests. We stayed at Choengmon Beach previously, and this area is child-friendly.

+: Firstly we were placed in a room near the restaurant, there was heavy foot traffic and noise throughout the day which did not seem relaxing as we could not enjoy our porch (unless you enjoy people-watching). The next day we asked to change the rooms and we were placed in the room further away from the restaurant and it was magical. Be mindful that seaview rooms are not really seaview, they have a side seaview when you are on your porch but not when you are inside the room. It did not bother us as it was very cozy regardless. The area has a lot of greenery, the beach is very nice, and you MUST wake up for the sunrise. We witnessed one of the most beautiful sunrises ever. The food at the restaurant is okay, a bit expensive. They have fire shows every Tuesday and Friday. We have seen many fire shows in Thailand (At Koh Tao Sairee Beach and Koh Samui's Bophut Beach), but the fire show at Crystal Bay Beach restaurant was the most spectacular one, the acts were way longer, more impressive and the team consisted of four guys who really threw a performance. A must-see. I had a foot massage within the hotels facilities for 400baht which was very very good.

+: Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja rauhallinen sijainti. Todella kaunis allas-alue kukkivine puineen ja solisevia suihkulähteitä puutarhapoluills. Kaunis pieni ranta, hyvät ruoat hotellin ravintolassa. Minimarket lähellä.

-: Huonoin puoli oli kova sänky. Huoneet olivat suuria, mutta tyhjiä. Ei ollut edes pyyhekoukkuja. Aikaa nähnyt alue. Myös allasalueen aurinkotuolit ja pehmusteet. Ravintola kallis. Rannalla katsottava mihin astuu, teräviä koralleja ja merimakkaroita. Rannalla ei aurinkotuoleja.

+: Located on one of the best beaches on the island. Generally, rooms are nice and spacious, but some are a bit tired. Our group stayed in 4 rooms; the hill view was supreme, and sea view were a bit tided with old beds; and in one the aircon was not working properly, so we had to ask to fix it a few times.

+: Lovely spacious room and close proximity to the beach

+: We loved the cabanas overlooking the ocean. Great to have a shaded spot to read and rest in between snorkeling adventures in the peaceful cove. Beautiful coral and abundant fish on the reef right off the beach. Loved it! The beach was clean and not loud or crowded. Made for a relaxing family stay. Close enough to walk to many good restaurants when we weren't eating at the hotel restaurant. The hotel restaurant was more expensive, but the views of the ocean made it worth it. We had a 2 bedroom cottage and the bedrooms were large and each had their own bathroom. The cottage was simple, but clean and came with a nice-sized refrigerator to store food and keep our water and drinks cold.

-: We knew from other reviews that the furniture in our room was more for function than comfort, but we were rarely in our room other than to sleep. Who would want to be inside when the sea and sand were the reason we were there? My only complaint was wishing it came with breakfast. Yes, you could add breakfast to the room rate, but there wasn't much selection for the price. Would've been perfect if it included a breakfast buffet.
