Tours and prices for holidays at the hotel The Rommanee Classic Guesthouse 2* 2024-2025 Thailand, Phuket

+: A nice little Hotel right in Phuket Old Town. Very friendly and helpful staff. I got help with getting the suitcase up to the room as there is no lift. A bit more romantic than newly renovated, what I liked. Very clean. Nice wooden floors. I did not miss english programs on TV, I get them in the next hotel. In the basement there is a nice coffeeshop, they roast by there own and the coffee tastes great. If your schedule allows, be there on a sunday evening as there is a nice street market with great atmosphere right in front of the hotel.

+: Fabulous location in Phuket Old Town. 5 min walk from the bus station. Its an old building so has beautiful wooden stairs (no shoes, please) but no lift. We checked in at the coffee shop downstairs. And access is via the closed shop in the evenings. Struggled a little with the key card when coming back on the evening, but managed. Great view from the front rooms, but the hotel is at a busy junction so expect some noise. Perfect for 1 or 2 nights stay. And great value. No breakfast but lots of options in Phuket.

+: Lovely little boutique hotel, close to everything in old town. Good choice for a solo traveller.

-: The staff were very indifferent.They were not rude but they weren't welcoming either.In Thailand usually people are very friendly and welcoming, so the behaviour of the staff felt unusual.

+: Arnaque hôtel à fuir. Nous avions réservé la chambre la plus chère avec la photo de la chambre aux fenêtres en arrondi de 32 mètres carrés. Lors de notre arrivée en rez de chaussée il y a un café dans lequel le jeune personnel nous dit de passer à 14h et nous propose de laisser nos bagages près des toilettes. A 14h la chambre qu"on nous donne fait moins de 20 mètres carrées aux rideaux et aux murs moisis, qui donne sur les toits. 8 blocks de climatisation sont sous nos fenêtres ils envoient de l'air chaud et sont bruyants. Les draps sont jaunis et déchirés autour du "lavabo' posé sur une étagère il y a des giclures de dentifrice, visiblement le nettoyage n'a pas été fait une serviette moisie récupère les fuites du siphon.

-: Lorsque je redescends pour demander des explications au personnel qui regarde le sol en disant que la chambre réservée est hors service et que qu'en cas de mécontentement il faut appeler le patron qui ne vient jamais. Je suis très en colère quand je branche la lampe de chevet et que machinalement je suis le fil avec ma main pour chercher l'interrupteur, là j'ai été électrocutée car il n'y a que 2 fils dénudés à la place de l'inter. Lorsque je suis passée devant la chambre 2 celle réservée à la base la porte est ouverte et je vois qu'elle sert de débarras il y a longtemps qu"elle n'est plus louée mais c'est toujours cette photo qui est sur le site de réservation. Pas d'armoire, pas de frigo on ne peut pas arrêter la clim bruyante.
