+: The location in the city is very good, the rooms were simple, but clean and the furniture looked nice. Considering the proximity to Taksim square, the mosque, bars, shops and nightlife it was relatively calm at night (though not silent). The staff was very friendly, though not everybody spoke English very well.
-: Our room was located in the basement, providing almost no daylight. The artificial light concept was good, though, and visiting a conference we did not really miss the daylight.

+: Lovely hotel in a nice quiet location, 10 minutes from Istiklal. The room was tastefully furnished, cozy and clean. The staff were very helpful, especially the porter on the last night who was very helpful in an emergency.
