+: Das Azade Hotel befindet sich sehr zentral in mitder Nähe von Sultanahmet meydani. Das Hotel ist klein sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war sehr zufrieden und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

+: Personale veramente gentile e disponibile. Servizio di pulizia della camera ottimo. Servizio di colazione impeccabile e attento. Ambiente tranquillo, silenzioso e fuori dal caos cittadino. Questo grazie alla posizione defilata (Cankurtaran Cd. 15, invece di Amiral Tafdil Sk. 7) a causa dei lavori di ristrutturazione della parte principale dell'albergo. Posizione strategica a due passi da tutti i principali monumenti e dalla fermata del tram T1 che attraversa Istanbul da ovest a est. Dulcis in fundo, vi è un ottimo ristorante di pesce proprio vicino all'albergo.

-: La mancanza di chiarezza. A causa dei lavori di ristrutturazione di una parte dell'albergo, la meravigliosa terrazza delle colazioni con vista sul Bosforo in realtà non esiste. La sala colazioni è temporaneamente nel locale seminterrato. Tutto molto carino e pulito, ma non è quanto mostrato sul sito. Quindi quello che mi ha dato veramente fastidio è il doverlo scoprire solamente in presenza, senza nessuna comunicazione o avviso preventivo.

+: Great location, best example of Turkish hospitality and a wide variety of breakfast options. A big standout is the cleanliness of the room, a hallmark of Turkish hotels. Having traveled extensively in the US, some of the best hotel chains fall short on cleanliness of the rooms. Very much appreciate this aspect of my stay.

-: Hotel is undergoing renovations and the entrance was a bit hard to find at first. It is however in a great location with proximity to restaurants and historic buildings.

+: Great staff. Our check in was easy with a young man who spoke very good English. He helped us order an Uber and taxi also assisted us in ordering online tickets to the mosques and cistern.

-: Older yet quaint property. It was great to come back to after a full day of adventure. Beds and linens were of good quality. The room (3 beds3 adults), gave each of us room to unpack and settle in. The bathroom was adequate in size with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The breakfast buffet was generous with a wide variety of items.

+: It is nearby mini markets and shops.

-: The room doesn't have curtains , obviously no privacy , the location has a bunch of restaurants however is not of a trust and seems a bit dangerous around, streets looks very poor and full of garbage around the hotel.Overall experience isn't that great and not recommended to go there , there should be much better ones .
